The Lompoc Valley Art Association’s Cypress Gallery will be featuring "It’s All Canvas!", an artist show by Tonya Schultz. The show will be on exhibit from July 28 – August 28, 2022.
Tonya Schultz is an abstract impressionist who resonates with color and warmth in her work. She sees beauty in form, movement, and stillness. Her great joy is seeing others react to the work she offers.
Her spirit is positive, As is her love for life.
Tonya brings her love of color and fluid movement to canvas. Some visions are abstract and invite you to tell the story of what you see and feel. Other visions are impressionist and invite you to react to your impression.
Her show is all about being interactive with the art. The Viewer can take the time to touch and feel the canvas and notice what creates an emotional connection for them. Tonya wants each person to find the special piece of the canvas that speaks to them. They can mark their section and when the show ends, they can claim their canvas.
Please come by and check out the show and meet the artist at her reception on July 30 from 2 to 4pm. The Cypress Gallery is at 119 East Cypress Avenue, Lompoc, across from the Museum.
