Submission Guidelines
All work must be for sale, with 70% of sales going to the artist and 30% go to support the work of the LVAA.
All artists participating must live/work in the Santa Barbara County.
Each artist may include up to three pieces in the show.
70% must be recycled, reused or repurposed materials
Maximum size for wall art: 18 x 24 inches
Maximum size for 3D works: 5 ft tall, under 50 pounds
All pieces must be ready to hang, with hanging hardware attached.
The size of the piece includes any frame or hanging hardware.
No glass, please. Plexiglass or other nonbreakable materials are fine if the work is framed.
What hanging hardware is required? All pieces must be ready to hang with a gallery wire. "Ready to hang" means each piece should sit flush to the wall and not require adjustments by the show crew beyond placing the piece on a nail.
What does "local" mean? If you want to get specific, we are emphasizing artists in Santa Barbara County at this time. You must drop off and pick up your work yourself. And hopefully, attend the party!
All pieces should be dry.
No print reproductions (such as giclee). No AI software created works. Failure to do so may result in being excluded from this and future shows with the LVAA.
