Cypress Gallery • Lompoc, CA

Artist Reception: Saturday, October 10 • 1–3 PM

Square Perspectives is back!

Local artists are invited to create within one simple constraint: 12 inches × 12 inches.

CALL FOR ARTISTS

Square Perspectives is open to artists living or working in Lompoc and throughout Santa Barbara County.

Artists may submit up to two original works.

HOW TO ENTER

STEP 1 : SUBMIT ONLINE

Artist submissions will open on the LVAA website two weeks leading up to In-Gathering. (Sept. 14th - 28th)

Complete the online Artist Entry Form before bringing your artwork to the gallery.

Each piece must be registered online prior to physical drop-off.

STEP 2 : BRING US YOUR ART

IN-GATHERING / ARTWORK DROP-OFF: Monday, September 28 • 11 AM–1 PM at the Cypress Gallery

Bring your registered artwork to the gallery during our In-Gathering hours.

The exhibition is limited to 165 pieces, so early online submission is encouraged.

THE 12 × 12 RULE

Every finished piece must measure exactly 12" × 12" - no larger, no smaller.

The 12" × 12" measurement includes the frame, if used. Work may extend up to 5" from the wall.

A 5" depth is the maximum, not a requirement. Flat work is absolutely welcome.

READY TO HANG

All artwork must arrive completely ready for installation with gallery wire attached.

“Ready to hang” means the piece can be placed directly on the gallery wall without the show crew needing to make adjustments.

Please remember:

No glass. Plexiglass or other non-breakable materials are okay.

All work must be completely dry at In-Gathering.

No print reproductions, including giclée reproductions.

No AI-generated artwork.

Artists must drop off and pick up their own work.

Works that do not meet exhibition requirements may be excluded from this and future LVAA exhibitions.

SALES

All artwork must be for sale.

70% of each sale goes to the artist.

30% supports the work of the Lompoc Valley Art Association and Cypress Gallery.
