Cypress Gallery featured artist will be Joellen Chrones “Hot Glass and Warm Fuzzies” The show will be from October 27 to November 23.
This exhibit celebrates the playful side of glass with functional and whimsical fused glass pieces from cheerful bowls and bright platters to quirky wind chimes. Pieces from small giftable treasures to larger statement works, all infused with the artist’s love of color and design. Each item is carefully crafted in a kiln, where layers of glass are fused into unique creations that are a joyful as they are useful.
The Warm Fuzzies are tactile colorful one-of-a-kind hats and purses made from hand knitted and felted wool into playful, practical and full of personality items. Felting is magic starting with wool knitted into a form, water and motion, you end up with something bold, wearable and completely unique. It’s fashion that makes you smile.
Joellen’s reception will be November 2 from 1pm to 3pm, come by, have a snack and meet Joellen, questions are encouraged.
